Prayer for a Good Husband

Lord, who guidest not only the action of men , but even their most significant thoughts, direct me to find a man according to thy heart. Yes, dear Lord, a man who may inspire me to a life of virtue and who will be for a true companion to the Holy state of matrimony so that encouraged by your example, I may spend with him a life of true lasting peace.

Guide my state to select one that most resemble thy Holy Father and if I can enable to do so thou maketh the solution for me, I feel confident O Lord that a man according to thy heart will be a faithful companion to me, a loving Father for my children and an exemplary King of my household. Amen.
