I did a feature article on Crosswinds, a high-end, Swiss-themed residential development in Tagaytay City. (Article is for the April 2005 Issue).

As we are in the season of Lent . Please spare a

moment to read through as

it is something which will help you. It will bring

you to a closer walk

with JESUS and you will experience great peace.



Lenten fasts have a tendency to be oriented toward

things like giving up

food or television. But there are many other

creative ways we can welcome

Jesus' healing touch this Lent. Below are some

suggestions you may want to

consider.



Fast from: Anger and Hatred:

Give your family and everyone you come across ,an

extra dose of love each

day.



Judging Others:

Before making any judgments, recall how Jesus

overlooks our faults.



Discouragement:

Hold on to Jesus' promise that He has a perfect plan

for your life.



Complaining:

When you find yourself about to complain, close your

eyes and recall some

of the little moments of joy Jesus has given you.



Resentment or Bitterness:

Work on forgiving those who may have hurt you.



Spending Too Much Money:

Try to reduce your spending by ten per cent and give

those savings to the

poor.

SMILE, CAUSE JESUS LOVES YOU !

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I thank You for my being able

to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a

forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me

and You Keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I

have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness.

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm.

Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.

Let me make the! best of each and every day to clear my mind so that

I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not

whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And It's the

best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I

can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me

strong that I may help the weak... Keep me uplifted that I may have

words of Encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost

and can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and

misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that don't believe.



But I thank you that I believe. I believe that God changes people

and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For

each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace,

love and Joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem,

circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your

hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the

hearts of every eye that sees it.

O Jesus Lover of the young,
The Dearest Friend I have,
In all confidence I open my heart to You,
To beg Your Light and Assistance in the
Important task of planning for my future.
Send me such a one whom You judge best
To be united with me in marriage.
May he be upright and loyal, pure, sincere
And noble that with united efforts
And pure love, in body and soul
As well as the children, it may please You
To entrust to our care.
Bless our friendship before marriage
That sin may always have no part of it.
May our mutual love bind us so closely
That our future home be most like Your home in Nazareth.
O, Mary Dearest Mother, You are my guiding star
Direct me to the person with whom I can cooperate
In doing God’s Holy Will and thus
Attain eternal joy in the next.

Amen.

Lord, who guidest not only the action of men , but even their most significant thoughts, direct me to find a man according to thy heart. Yes, dear Lord, a man who may inspire me to a life of virtue and who will be for a true companion to the Holy state of matrimony so that encouraged by your example, I may spend with him a life of true lasting peace.

Guide my state to select one that most resemble thy Holy Father and if I can enable to do so thou maketh the solution for me, I feel confident O Lord that a man according to thy heart will be a faithful companion to me, a loving Father for my children and an exemplary King of my household. Amen.
