This is where we hold our reunions...My godfather owns this place...And this would be our first Christmas without Lola... When my grandmother died, we had a reunion of sorts. See if you can tell that I have been crying for nights... Well, you can't, can you? I'm too good at hiding my grief. But I'm sure you'd notice how beautiful (and handsome) we...
< Thanks Jo for the pictures! I'm on my second day of attending anticipated "evening mass". And thanks to Tryx, was able to avoid probably another one of those major heartaches because of unwise emotional investments...And yes, I saw the profile. ...
Author’s Note: The following story contains texts that may not be suitable for all audiences. Author’s guidance is advised. You may call me Dolce. I don’t smile much. But I fall for men who make me laugh. My academic records may give the impression that I am “boring” but on the contrary, I believe I make good company. My passion is dancing. Last...
Ray of light Now, I do not wish to make a fool out of myself… I mean, I am probably older than he is or perhaps he has not yet finished school and is working to do so… So I am not going to make a career out of learning new things about him. What are the chances of meeting a guy that...

I enjoyed my last two days in Cebu. Last Sunday, we went to Plantation Bay and I played volleyball with acquaintances/friends from my UP organization. So now, I have black and blue arms. My arms look like they were battered. But the pain reminds me of the “joy”
Then, Joseph and I went to the wall-climbing area. It was fun and I was really shaking after three climbs. I did pretty well according to the instructor. Joseph was teasing me about how my biceps and leg muscles were “showing” (although Joseph prefers just rappelling and not climbing, he had no choice hehehe). I wanted to go to the firing range but apparently, they use live bullets. So we didn’t.
Then Sunday night, we went to crossroads (again!) after having dinner at The Village for videoke. We closed the place down (yup. We were the last to leave) We had coupons for a Roman Spa at the Waterfront Hotel at Lahug but we were not able to use them. We used the coupons as part of the tip we gave the driver of the van we rented the next day (since we had to check out of the hotel and our flight was still in the evening, we rented a van to shuttle us around the city to buy stuff and to bring us to the airport.). He was very happy.
I'm just so sad. My grandma's death and now my brother's grief over not passing the board for ECE. And all the time, I have to act I'm fine, that everyone ---my mom, my brother, my aunts and cousins---can depend on me...that I can be a source of strength. The fact is, I am broken inside. It's difficult to pretend that I am...
How happy can you get when after more than a month, you finally get paid your half-month's salary?!!! It's exhilirating you would agree to having a picture-taking session on the way to the bank. ...
Will you trust someone who says s/he loves you only after two meetings? Sagutin niyo ako… ...
My mom said “If God answers your prayer, He is increasing your faith. If He delays, He is increasing your patience. If He doesn’t answer, He has something better for you.” What if He finally answers the prayer and then decided to take it back? What does He want me to learn? What does He want me to do? Paano ba kasi kapag...
"The heart that truly loves fills not the need to be secure but gives security amidst the absence of luxury. The heart that loves asks not what one will get but what one can give." Isn't this called "martyrdom"? Uso pa ba ito ngayon? Isn't it more appropriate to say "Don't expect what you are not willing to give"? ...
Everything and everyone that God allows to come our way is worth a purpose. He uses even the greatest error and the deepest hurt to mold us into persons of worth and value.
Look for me in the picture! ...
